Enter the Fluff
Yes it is finally complete – it has taken a while to complete but for me it was worth it. Hopefully it will be available on youtube, it is already available on the site portfolio, on NewGrounds.com and on DeviantArt.com.

I am very pleased with how it has turned out and would highly recommend using gradients in shading, animating the fur flowing in the wind was pretty tricky but easy to do once you get into the swing of it.
I plan to work on shorter pieces that will most likely be posted up on my DeviantArt page since I only select what I deem to be the best of my work to be featured on this site.
But never fear – there will be more to come.

2011 Make-Over
Hello to alas I have these past few months been a very busy little bee and as an unfortunate result have had little time to work on my fluff animation. However as you can tell the site has had a complete make-over, even the logo has had a spruce up.

I wanted to go for a more update, modern and less childish look since I am hoping to be creating more video idents similar to the one I created for GamerFM and in the near future some more flash animations and graphics.
The Showreel is finally complete – took the best part of the day to put this together in after effects, I really enjoyed the editing since most of the footage fitted the background music like a glove. It has really motivated me to make more animations and play more with my 3D animations (if my pc can take it).

Fluff Opening - update
Not to worry I am still working on the fluff opening and just to prove this I have included a nice little screen shot of a finished scene.

Unfortunately there was a period since my last post where I have not been working on my animations as there was other personal and day work stuff I had to attend too.
But fear not I am back and should soon have the new Fluff opening completed – feedback I have received so far has been really positive since I have pushed my skills more in this one.
There is also been a recent update to the drawings page where I have included my recent digital drawings and images created on Photoshop including an image of Fluff.

The Regretful Absents
Blimey I have been very neglectful, and regretfully I have not as yet completed the new fluff animation – however this year my day job has been more demanding than previous years and thus rendering yours truly either utterly occupied or creatively drained.
But not to fear I am not completely gone – just branced out into another media, online radio. In the past 4 months I have become a presenter for the wonderful, entertainment oozing online radio station that is GamerFM – alas due to internet issues I cannot broadcast my own show but I am a frequent guest presenter – hopefully I will have a flash radio button included in the site so you too can enjoy the music.
As you may or may not have noticed but the site has had an update – nothing obvious since the design is almost identical to the pervious one – but hopefully you will notice an improvement in performance. This one has been created using primarily cascading styling sheets (CSS – not the game XD) so in theory the pages should load quicker.
The reason for the update was simply to attempt to improve my skills and to increase motivation and productivity – well that is the intention.
On a sad side note Peanut – the hamster that inspired the dancing hamster animations died beginning of December, he lived to the ripe age of 3 – not sure what that is in hamster year but he was pretty old yet was constantly energetic, especially when it came to food and treats.

But since then there has been a new edition to the wildlife that inhabits my sanctuary – Tinker Tod, not sure if I would base any animations on her or continue with Peanut...you shall have to wait and see.
Hopefully I will have more to add and currently considering updating my flash drawing gallery by including my Photoshop work.

New Fluff Animation - Background Peek
Just been working on my new fluff animation this evening – have to say the background was rather tricky to do, especially the grass but got there in the end and am rather pleased with how it has turned out. I will have to add some extra bits like clouds and playing with the idea of birds in the background.

Here is just a quick peek at the background in the first scene or the new Fluff animation.
Whilst working on the rough version of the animation, I have also been watching a series of videos by the creator of ‘Bitey of Brackenwood’, Adam Phillips. In these videos he shows how he animated one of the scenes with the elusive Bitey – I have found them rather interesting to watch and the sounds made highly amusing.

Right since it is half 3am think I will turn in for the night and tackle the next section of the animation tomorrow.

New Fluff Animatic
Just as mentioned in my last entry, here is my animatic to my new Fluff animation. At the moment it is just a little piece that could be an opening sequence to a story – which I have not as yet fleshed out, rather bad with making a story ¬_¬
But as promised it comes with some nice different camera shots, angles and pans. I have just finished putting the music together which I was about to include in this animatic but changed my mind at the last minute – a woman's prerogative and didn't want to give too much away as it is a really nice little track.
Hopefully will start working on it tomorrows in-between doing other stuff that I just can't ignore anymore.
Enjoy ^_^
